Please help us to save the FAR Academy
The FAR Academy is not just a college; it is a lifeline. For so many neurodivergent young people, it offers what mainstream education could not: genuine respect, real support and the chance to thrive. Every day, The FAR Academy helps students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other learning differences to reach their potential in an environment built around their needs. It is a place where individuality is celebrated, where learning feels achievable and where confidence begins to grow again. For many students, it is the first time they have felt truly understood and valued.
However, our college is currently under threat. Shutting us down is a move that would shatter the hopes of the students, families and staff who depend on this ground-breaking institution. Closing us down would undo years of progress and take away a community that has transformed lives. Our college makes an extraordinary difference. It gives young people the chance to develop skills, independence and belief in themselves. Losing it would mean turning our backs on those who most need compassion, stability and opportunity.
