Every day, I see young people learning, growing, and discovering what they are capable of. Much of this is made possible by the work we do behind the scenes at the FAR Foundation.

What is the FAR Foundation?
You may be asking, “What exactly is the FAR Foundation?”

At its core, we are a community that brings together education, creativity, and opportunity. Both the **FAR Academy** and the **FAR Skate Shop** sit under this umbrella. Each plays a unique role in helping students build skills, confidence, and independence while having fun along the way.

The FAR Academy
At the FAR Academy, our focus is on education and student development. We work hard to create a learning environment where every student feels listened to, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Students work on core subjects like Maths and English, but they also have opportunities to engage in creative projects, practical tasks, and real-world challenges. This combination helps them build confidence, develop essential skills, and gain independence at their own pace.

Every day, I am inspired by the determination and resilience our students show.

The FAR Skate Shop
The FAR Skate Shop complements the Academy by offering a practical, welcoming space for young people. It is much more than a place to buy skateboarding equipment.

The shop is a community hub where students and young people can connect, explore their interests, and develop confidence through hands-on activities. It also supports the Academy financially, meaning every purchase contributes directly to creating more opportunities for our students.

A Unique Ecosystem
Together, the Academy and the Skate Shop under the FAR Foundation create a unique ecosystem. By combining structured learning with creative, physical, and community-based experiences, we provide young people with the tools they need to succeed academically, socially, and personally.

This approach helps students discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and develop the confidence and independence that will serve them well beyond the Academy.

Our Mission
For me, the FAR Foundation is all about opportunity. It is about ensuring that every young person has the support, guidance, and space to flourish. Whether it is in the classroom, at the skate shop, or in the wider community, we aim to create experiences that are meaningful, empowering, and enjoyable.

I am proud of what we have built and excited for the future as we continue to grow and provide opportunities for more young people to thrive.
