Far Academy Curriculum
At the FAR Academy CIC, we offer more than just qualifications. We offer the support and help to ensure our students are ready to learn. We often offer counselling and extra curriculum support; in other words, we provide one to one additional support for anyone who is in need.
Our curriculum consists of many qualified courses ranging from:
- Functional Skills English NCFE Entry Level and Level 1/2
- Functional Skills Maths NCFE Entry Level and Level 1/2
- Creative Craft (Construction) NCFE Level
- Business Enterprise NCFE Technical Award Level 1/2
- Photography NCFE Level 1/2
- PSHE
- Art & Design
- Graphic Design
- PE
We can also provide specialised courses such as: Retail, health care, Teaching assistant, these courses are provided by us and support by our professional teachers.
On extension to our current curriculum, we also provide work experience either in corporation with us (working in our retail shop or teaching assisting) or we can outsource our students to places more suitable for the chosen career, work experience takes place on every Friday.
