Our Leadership Team works to ensure all out students are fully supported in a safe environment. We nurture self-esteem, build confidence and provide learning experiences and support that help our students prepare for better futures.
My name is Brent Lewis. I am the Founder and Head Teacher at the FAR Academy. I will be here to help, guide and support you during your time with us. We can work together on your custom educational programmes and make sure you achieve your goals and working towards a positive future.
Hi, I’m Emma Leyboune, the SENCo at FAR. I’m here to make sure every student gets the right support to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
You’ll find me in my office (usually under a pile of paperwork!) or around college, popping into lessons and checking in with students.
My approach is shaped by both personal and professional experience, and I’m passionate about making sure every young person feels understood, supported and empowered.
My door’s always open if you need a chat or have any questions!
Hi, my name is Hayley Lawn, and I am the Family Liaison Officer (FLO) at the FAR Academy. Young people’s wellbeing is at the centre of my role as FLO.
Should any concerns arise within college or personal difficulties, I am here to listen, support and offer advice/signposting. I work closely with our SENDCO, and together, we aim to help you with any questions you may have regarding your young person’s EHCP and education.
