Team to walk 285 km and raise £10,000 for the FAR Skate foundation

Walking for FAR

In September we are walking Offa’s Dyke; a 285 km long walking trail following the Welsh border, over the course of 14 days to raise money for the FAR Skate foundation.

The four of us, Isaac Epton, Colin Epton, Jude Epton and Mark Lancaster, have been supporters of the charity for years, with Mark acting as a trustee for the charity.

Walking for 12-14 days

The walk will take place over 12-14 days along the border of Wales between Bristol and Liverpool. We will aim to walk 25-30 km a day over extreme elevations and various conditions across the British countryside.

We aim to raise £10,000 to give the foundation.

Your donation will provide support in gaining access to therapists, educational support and personalised courses.

The FAR Skate Foundation

The FAR Skate Foundation is a non profit charitable organisation based in Whitstable, specialising in looking after young people who struggle with Social, Emotional and Mental Health through encouraging and teaching the art of skateboarding. Through inspiring a passion for skateboarding, the foundation has a 100 percent success rate of getting young people, who would otherwise fall through the cracks of the education system, to pass their maths and English GCSE’s. It has proven an invaluable resource for the local community.
